Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn is an American actress. Her most well-known role is her part as Skyler White in the AMC drama series Breaking Bad for which she was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting actress in the Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. Alongside her roles as Martha Bullock and Jean Ward as well, she was a part of The Practice. Anna Gunn began acting as an infant as a child in Sante Fe New Mexico. Her family then moved to Ohio and she continued her passion for performing on theatre. She attended the British American Drama Academy and was a theatre student through Northwestern University. Anna performed in Chicago's theater for a number of years before attempting TV and movie parts. Anna was selected to portray Arden on Down the Shore in the series of 29 episodes Down the Shore. She continued to appear as a guest star in a number of television movies and shows like Seinfeld and NYPD Blue until the late 90's when she appeared in a role that she reprised in the role of Jean Ward in The Practice. She starred as Martha Bullock in Deadwood for two seasons during the 2000s. Skyler was her role on Breaking Bad. Sully was the Deadwood film, and other movies were also starring her. Gunn also took to the stage in a David Schwimmer directed production Sex With Strangers. Gunn acted as Numbered Days, which is a four-part audio show that premiered that will air in 2022. Breaking Bad often revolves around Walter White and Skyler's relationship. The drama's tension and final ending mirrors the last decades in the story of Walter White.
