Christopher Peter Meloni, an American actor who is well known for his part in the show on television 'Law and Order Special Victims Unit. His passion for acting started in his early college days. He completed his acting studies at University of Colorado at Boulder. He was also active in TV and film but his performances on the small screen are what brought him much recognition. The actor is able to play characters from both the good and bad sides of the legal system. He can capture the audiences attention with ease. When he first appeared on television, for his debut show, he was a serial murderer. In later projects, he was the role of an NYPD Investigator. The small screen performances of his are rewarded with numerous Emmy Awards nominations and PRISM Awards. The most appealing feature of his face is said to be his piercing blue eyes, which are considered to be his trademark. They helped in portraying the rough and savage characters with a sense of humour. The People's Magazine's list of Sexiest Men Alive included him.
